Building Permits and Zoning Permits:

information contained in each permit packet prior to completion.
Submit your completed application, in-person, to the Conewago Township
Office.««
Please call if you have questions regarding your project and if a permit is
required.
• Residential Building and Zoning Permits may take up to fifteen (15)
business days for
review and process. It is extremely important for
the applicant to read all of the information
found in each permit application packet.

• All applications for permit shall be accompanied by appropriate
information, sketches and/or
drawings for review. Incomplete submissions will be returned to
the applicant.
• Commercial Building and Zoning Permits may take up to thirty (30) business
days for review
and process. Any creation of or expansion of a building or of a
use is subject to the Zoning
Ordinance as well as the Subdivision and Land Development
Ordinance.
All building projects, except for new home construction and pools and
fences, will fill out the
Residential Permit for
Additions, Alterations
and Accessory Structures. This permit will include such projects
as sheds, decks, remodeling, driveways, electrical upgrades, and etc.
Swimming Pool Permits
are required for
all
pools:
portable, temporary, and permanent. It is extremely important for you to
review the swimming pool guidelines and regulations
prior to completing your
application for permit.
Submit the four-page swimming pool permit application in-person to the
Township Office. If constructing a deck, complete the
deck specifications
and return the form with your applications.
Fence Permits
are needed for replacing, repairing and new fence projects.
Non-Residential Permits
are required for commercial and industrial uses and businesses.
