for residents wishing to participate in the program.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 19th, 2010
To register and pre-pay, come to the Adams Co. Dept. of Environmental Svcs., located at the Ag. Center, 670 Old Harrisburg, Rd. Suite 100 (downstairs), Gettysburg, between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. For more information, please call the Environmental Services Dept. at 337-9827. Participants are encouraged to complete registration as soon as possible, as there is a limit as to the total amount of tires that can be accepted. Note: Extra tires brought in that are not registered, may not be accepted.
Participants in the tire program will be allowed to dispose of 20 car or standard size truck tires per household. Tires exceeding 48inches in diameter or 14 inches in width will not be accepted into the program. ALL tires must be off the rims and be free of mud and debris.
